Actor. He is best remembered for his roles as 'Noah Gifford' and 'Harry Johnson' from 1968 to 1969 on the ABC television daytime gothic soap opera "Dark Shadows". The son of Eastern European immigrants, he got his first break into films with an uncredited role in the 1957 short film "Is this Love?". He then made several other uncredited film appearances before securing his roles in 17 episodes of "Dark Shadows" in the late 1960s. Additionally he made uncredited appearances in television's "Colgate Playhouse", "Mr. Peepers", "Father Knows Best", "Playhouse 90". "Climax", and "Gunsmoke". A type 2 diabetic, he died of insulin shock at the age of 43.
