Anton Jindrich Is Found Dead Monday Afternoon
Anton Jindrich, 58, a farmer who
lived 4 miles northeast of Oxford,
was found dead in bed at his home at
3:30 o'clock Monday afternoon hy C.
E. Oakes of Oxford.
County Coroner Gorge D. Callahan
said it is believed Jindrich, who died
of a heart attack, had been dead since
Sunday.
Jindrich, a bachelor farmer was
born and raised in Johnson County.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lorenz
Jindrich, pioneer residents.
Surviving are five brothers, Albert
of Oxford, Joseph of South Amana,
John of Swaldale, Frank of North
Liberty and Charles of Gladbrook;
three sisters, Mrs. Frank Kadera of
Oxford, Mrs, Charles Dusek of Gladbrook
and Mrs. Clarence Kutcher of
Oxford, and several nieces and
nephews.
The body was taken to the home of
Mrs. Kutcher in Oxford Wednesday
afternoon. The rosary was recited at
8 o'clock Wednesday evening at the
Kutcher home.
Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock
Thursday afternoon in the St.
Mary's church at Oxford with burial
in the Hala cemetery.
