Judy Cooper Greer, 61, died Thursday, May 27, 2010.
Mrs. Greer was born Nov. 25, 1948, in Flagstaff. She married Paul Greer on June 15, 1967. They co-managed the Best Western Pony Soldier Motel in Flagstaff for 30 years. She was currently working at Adoption Media Dot Com in Mesa. She had been there for the last five years.
Mrs. Greer had a bachelor of science degree in elementary education, graduating from Northern Arizona University. She was an avid reader. She also spent many hours running and cycling. She ran several marathons, including Toronto and St. George.
She took great pride in her home and enjoyed decorating, cooking and helping with yard work. She very active with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, working in the MIA, Primary, Relief Society and she also taught Sunday School. She enjoyed traveling, and seeing new places was a great interest to her.
Mrs. Greer is survived by her husband, Paul Greer of Mesa; children Mindy and Christopher Greer of Mesa; her mother, Arthur Meeks Cooper of Mesa; and her brother, Larry Cooper of Orem, Utah.
Funeral services will be Saturday, at 10 a.m., at the Elmwood Ward Building of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 925 N. Harris, in Mesa. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service in the Relief Society Room. Interment will be in Mesa City Cemetery.
