WILL CALDWELL

Will Ike Caldwell, 68, of West died Sunday at the Holmes County Community Hospital where he had been a patient for four weeks.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, February 14 from Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Durant with the Rev. Carey Cox officiating. Burial was in County Line Cemetery in Holmes County.

Mr. Caldwell was a son of Emmett H. Caldwell and Cora Welch Caldwell. He was a native of Carroll County, a retired farmer and a member of West Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Virginia Browning Caldwell; four daughters, Mrs. Marine Clark of Taylorsville, Mrs. Christine Self of Vaiden, Mrs. Earline C. Showers of Clinton, and Mrs. Dorothy C. Owen of Carrollton, Ga.; two sons, T.C. Caldwell of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Donald Caldwell of Durant; three sisters, Mrs. Lillie C. Devine of Elliott, Mrs. Gladys C. Maddox and Mrs. Ruby C. Self of West; two brothers, Lee Caldwell of Kosciusko and Benny Caldwell of West; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Herman Cummings, Billy Caldwell, Edgar Caldwell and Jackie Denney.
