Gertha Lee Stoner, 85 of Birmingham, died Monday, May 31, at Saint Martin's. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 3, at 2 p.m. at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Elder Jim McGill and Bro. Randall Stoner officiating. Burial will follow in Pea Ridge Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. until the service time Thursday. Survivors include husband of 65 years, William Curtis Stoner Jr.; children, Carolyn Head (Mickey), of Birmingham, Randall Stoner (Vicki), of Albertville, Charlotte Lightsey (Layne), of Lake Wales, Fla., Michael Stoner (Karen), of Mandeville, La.; sisters, Tola Ott, Flona Thornhill, Opella Smith, Zula Jones, Ivonene Thompson; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
