Mrs. Anna Knickerbocker, wife of Frank E. Knickerbocker, died from apoplexy at her home, No. 10 Cedar Street, at 11 o'clock last night. She was in her usual health yesterday afternoon and was downtown shopping. She was stricken at 8 o'clock last evening. Mrs. Knickerbocker was born in Medina 59 years ago. She became a resident of Batavia In 1884. She was of a kind disposition and was beloved by all her neighbors and other acquaintances. She was a member of the First Baptist church, the Friendly class and Batavia Chapter, O.E.S.

Besides her husband Mrs. Knickerbocker Is survived by three children, Mrs. Avis Theetge of Newark, N. J., Hayes Knickerbocker of Niagara Falls and Miss Nellie Knickerbocker of Batavia; four stepsons, Frank of Dallas, Tex., Myron of Rochester and Adelbert and Fred of Batavia; her mother, Mrs. James Baldwin of Rochester; four brothers. George Baldwin of Hindsburg, Benjamin Baldwin of Houston, Tex., and Fred and Adrian Baldwin of Barre Center, and three sisters, Mrs. Charles Ferris of Albion, Mrs. William Atkins and Mrs. Charles Lafever of Rochester. The funeral will be held from the family home at 2 p. m. on Tuesday.
