Eldon Saltzman was born Nov. 21, 1911 in Mt. Vernon, Indiana, the last of eleven children born to William Henry and Sarah Elizabeth (Kincheloe) Saltzman. Throughout his life it is said that he was married many times, however the one that stuck by him was Mary Edith Jefferies, to which he spent his last days with. He worked for Mead Johnson and was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Eagles. He was a member of the Salvation Army Church. He passed away at Sycamore Village Health Center in Kokomo.

He is survived only by his brothers Vogel of Mt. Vernon, Indiana; and Harold of Tulare, California; and sisters Amy Strean of Chicago, Illinois; and Yettive Hancock of Mt. Vernon.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters Beulah Oliver, Ida Rae Biggerstaff, Mervil Clara Johnson, Sylvia Ackerman; brothers Horace Bedford, and Jesse Saltzman.

Interment will be at Bellefontaine Cemetery.
