He was a Blacksmith. He married Rachel Wright. His mother was Mary Eliza Rice Cross 1770-cJune 1863

About the Decker Farm Cemetery:
Peter N. Decker (1859-1925) was born in New York state but moved to Michigan where he was reared and educated.
He came with his dad, Nicholas, to Macon County in early manhood and acquired a farm south of Callao and soon became one of the most progressive farmers in Macon County.
Some eight years ago, in 1917, he moved to Callao where he has since made his home.
