He was part of the old 1800 Club gang in downtown Miami for a long time where he had many friends and acquaintances.
He leaves behind his beloved mother Alberta Phillips, the love of his life, Carol Wilde and his beloved sister Linda "Windy" Johnson and her husband Ross M. Johnson.
