SARAH HALL--82:
Shermansville; died at the home of her daughter MrsDavid Foust on 06 Dec 1906 in Sadsbury Twp. She is survived by her husband MB Hall & 9 children, all of whom were able to attend the funeral, this being the first death occuring in the family. Deceased was born in MercerCnty but lived all her life since childhood in the vicinity of Sadsbury Twp. Interment was made in Foust Cemetery.

NOTE:
When Moses was 100 years old, both were living & she was listed as Miss Sara Hause. Variations of her name in childrens records are Haas, Honn, Haus, Hawes, Hause. Some records show she was from SenecaCnty NY; other show Mercer Cnty PA.

MOSES B HALL--103 years lacking 1mos.
He was born 9 Jun 1815 in the state of Ver-mont, died 09 May 1918 in Linesville PA, at the home of son & daughter who have cared for him in delining years. The last month was past by the aged man in almost comatose condition, taking nourishment but 3 times during 30 days. Death came a 8:30 in the evening & bedside friends were apprised at 8:15 by the breathing that he was passing away.
The funeral services were conducted by RevLoyd of Gehrton Evangelical Church in the Shermansville MR church last Sunday. He lived about 75 years in Western Crawford, locating at Shermansville, some portion of years at Hartstown, Gehrton, Linesville. In early life he was a carpenter in boat building & he worked at his trade in Canada, NewYork, then at Greenville PA wehre he married Miss Sara Hause.
To them 10 children were born--9 now living: HenryA Hall, Ida Foust-Linesvl; Daniel Hall, Ella Bates-Williamsfld OH; Elmer Hall, Ada Gehr-Shermansvl; Benjamin Hall-Girard; Samuel Hall-Transfer; Almeda Freeland-CambridgeSpring. Mrs MB Hall died 11yrs ago. A son Henry Hall was in the war of the Rebellion. His children, grandchildren & gr grandchildren & relatives occupied most of the church seating capacity at the funeral.
James Madison, fourth President of the United States, was the Chief Executive at the time of the birth of MB Hall who lived through 25 administrations. He cast his first vote for President in 1836 for W H Harrison. He was 13 when the first railroad was begun, 29 when the first telegraph was consturcted and in his day practicability being worked out in telephone, ocean steamship, trolley electricity, wireless, phonograph, air motoring, auto motoring, gas engines, airbrakes, typewriter etc.
