Flora Chiappisi Donati passed away on March 17, 2010 in Costa Mesa, CA. She was 94 years old. She grew up in Needham, MA, lived most of her adult life in Dover, MA, moving to Rancho Santa Margarita, CA in 1987 to be near her daughter, Leslie. A radiant beacon of light, Flora touched us all with her open loving heart, support, and acceptance. She was the legendary keeper of family stories, leaving us with a legacy of laughter and cherished memories. Diminutive in stature, monumental in her loving compassion, Flora taught us all that love is life's most precious gift. We will always keep her close to our hearts. She was predeceased by her husband, Victor in 1985 and is survived by her daughter, Leslie Hixson and her husband Michael as well as many nieces, nephews and other members of her large, extended family. Her family suggests that in memory of Flora, a donation to the "Susan G. Komen for the Cure" be made in her name.
