Solomon is the husband of 3 ladies, the 1st 2 of whom preceded him in death: Cynthia Moore, m. 1840; Ann Hall, m. 1862; and Martha Mills Rouintree, m. 1865. He lived most of his life in Posey County, IN. until the last few years which were spent with son Enoch in Webb City, MO. He left his farming to join the 25th IN Cavalry and was seriously injured at Shiloh, TN, in 1862; yet he fought on and was again very ill with Heat Stroke at Corinth, MS. His 2 oldest sons had joined the same unit one year after their father. His health deteriorated severely in his last years. He is buried near Enoch E. Bradley, his 2nd oldest child & son. He was predeceased by another son, Aaron, born ca. 1847 & d. 1863 while Solomon was away at war; he was allowed leave to come home.
In addition to children listed below, Solomon is the father of Enoch Elijah Bradley, #53387513, who's son of Cynthia, and Angeline (Bradley) Exline, Mem.# 78569352, daughter of Martha Mills. There is one other son by Cynthia, Aaron Bradley,b. 1847 & died 1863 while Solomon was away at war, cause not stated. No burial info is available on him at this time.
