Death of an Aged and Well-known Citizen of Quincy Township.

Mr. Jacob Monn, Sr., who resided at Fox Hill, in Quincy township, was stricken with paralysis on Monday evening of last week, the third attack within the last two years and the one which proved fatal. From the time he was attacked on Monday evening until his death which occurred on Friday last he never uttered a word. He was a man who will be much missed in the community in which he lived, being a good neighbor, a kind friend, and respected by all who enjoyed his acquaintance. His remains were followed to the Mount Zion burying ground on Monday last by a large concourse of friends and neighbors. The house of the deceased was not large enough to admit all who desired to hear the funeral services, which were conducted by the Revs. John Benedict, Riddlesberger, Good and Walk.
