To Hold Services For James McMillan At Caledonia
James McMillan, 83, resident of Rockford for 17 years, died yesterday afternoon at the home of his son-in-law, William Peterson, 2133 Melrose street.
Born Dec. 20, 1853, at Cincinnati, O., Mr. Peterson [sic] moved to California [sic] in 1858. Has [sic] was a charter member of the Caledonia Congregational church.
Surviving are a daughter, Miss Bessie McMillan of Rockford, a brother, Charles and a sister, Mrs. W. H. Brown, both of Caledonia, and five grandchildren. His wife and one daughter preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Caledonia church. The Rev. W. C. Graf will officiate, and burial will be in the Argyle cemetery.
