Husband: Lyle E. Gill. He was her childhood sweetheart. They were married for 62 years.
She retired as a teacher of children with special needs at the S. June Smith Center in Lancaster, and continued to work as a volunteer in both her church and in the community. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening. Besides her husband, three of her greatest loves were her faith, her family and her friends.
Relatives: two daughters, Cynthia Warnock of Annville, Pa., and Mary Jane Russelburg of Carlisle, Pa.; a son, Jeffrey Gill of Lancaster; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Helen McCormick of Severna Park, Md., and Janet Gilmore of Leesburg, Fl.
