Mrs. Doris Lucille Albritton Dixon, 76, of Poplar Street, Ideal, died Thursday, May 28, 1992 in Flint River Community Hospital in Montezuma.
Services were held at 11 am Saturday, May 30, in Ideal Baptist Church with the Revs. Sidney Clay and Bill Givens officiating. Burial was in IDEAL CITY CEMETERY.
Mrs. Dixon, a native of Taylor County was born April 18, 1916, the daughter of John J. Albritton and Ida Jones Albritton. She had resided in Macon County for most of her life, was a homemaker, a member of Ideal Baptist Church and the wife of the late Frederick M. Dixon.
Survivors are three sons, Frederick M. Dixon, Jr. of Warner Robins, Johnny L. Dixon of Americus, Gary Dixon of Oglethorpe, a daughter, Mrs. Lutricia Johnson of Oglethorpe, three brothers, Homer R. Albritton, Felton F. Albritton, both of Ideal, Maurice J. Albritton of Meansville, a sister, Mrs. Maxie James of Panama City, Fl. and six grandchildren.
Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma was in charge of arrangements.
