John J. Albritton

IDEAL--- John J. Albritton, 88, died at 2 a.m., Friday at Riverside Hospital in Montezuma after a long illness.

Funeral services will be held at 11a.m., Saturday in Ideal Baptist Church. Burial will be in Prosperity Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. H. H. Gregory will officiate.

Mr. Albritton, a native of Taylor County, had lived in Ideal for the past 16 years. He was a retired farmer, and a member of the Ideal Baptist Church.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ida Jones Albritton;four sons, John B., Homer, and Felton Albritton all of Ideal, and Maurice Albritton of Thomaston; four daughters, Mrs. E.D. Braswell of Montezuma, Mrs. Irvin James of Marianna, Fla., Mrs. Fred Dixon of Ideal, and Mrs. Marvin Murphy of Ellaville; three brothers, Charlie Albritton of Rupert, Jesse Albritton of Butler, and Otis Albritton of Thomaston; one sister, Mrs. Eula Brewer of Ellaville; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
