SAMUEL UETZ DIES
AT COUNTY HOSPITAL
Samuel Uetz, 79, Elwood, Carpen-
ter, died at the county hospital near
Anderson last eveining at 7:30 o'clock,
of paralysts. He had been a patient
at the hospital for several weeks.
Mr. Uetz resided in Elwood a num-
ber of years and was employed as a
carpenter. He was an industrious
and energetic worker. Prior to his
removal to the county hospital he
was a patient at the Mercy hospital
here.
Funeral services will be conducted
at the Clark chapel tomorrow after-
noon at 4 o' clock by Rev. E. L.
Gates, pastor of the First M. E.
church. Members of the local car-
penter's Union will be pallbearers.
Burial will be made in the city ceme-
tery.
