Charlie Carter, 90, of Siloam Springs, died in a local nursing home Tuesday. Born in Washington County, he was a retired grocer, a former Justice of the Peace, and a Methodist. Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. L. A. Carman and Mrs. Caswell Wilson, both of Prairie Grove, Mrs. Ed Tinsly of La Mesa, N.M. and Mrs. Corley Thompson of Neosho, MO.; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m Friday at the United Methodist Church with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery under direction of Pyeatte Funeral Service.
