Erma Louise Stolte, 62, of Vandalia, died at 5:30am Thursday, August 31, 2000, at Fayette County Hospital, Vandalia.
Mrs Stolte was born on Oct 24, 1937 in rural Brownstown, the daughter of Clyde and Helen Brewbaker Ragel. She was an abstractor for Burtschi Brothers for 38 years and a member of the First Baptist Church, Vandalia. She married James Stolte on July 2, 1956, in Corinth, Miss.
She is survived by her husband of Vandalia; mother of Vandalia; son, Bill and wife Keli Stolte of Brownstown; daughters, Tina and husband Todd Kingery, and Tammi and husband Danny Kellow, both of Vandalia; brother, Donald Ragel of Vandalia; sister, Mary Jo and husband Glen Summann of Brownstown; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Robert Dean Ragel in 1989.
