Frances Fugett was the daughter of Townsend Fugett and Malinda Cooper. She married Robert Wilds 28 December 1802 Garrard County, Kentucky. They were in Fort Hempstead, Howard County, Missouri by 1810. Frances Fugett Wilds the mother of at least ten daughters and two sons. She secondly married William Canole 1855 - had known him since at least 1810, when Robert Wilds and William Canole were both blacksmiths in Fort Hempstead.
