He was deployed with the UK contingent of NATO forces in Afghanistan.

Kingsman Tagitaginimoce was killed in a small arms fire engagement with enemy forces while on a security operation the Nad–e Ali district of Helmand province.

Aged 29, from Nausori, Fiji. He joined the army in 2005 and served with distinction, including several operational deployments to Iraq. Described as an exceptional soldier with high level of field skills and leadership, he was always ready for any task. Known as "Tagi" he was soft-spoken, unassuming and utterly reliable. He was also a keen rugby player and represented the battalion on numerous occasions.

Kingsman Tagitaginimoce leaves behind his wife Laisani and children Taniela, Ponipate and Saiasi, his parents Ravuama and Paulini, five siblings, along with other relatives and friends.

A repatriation ceremony was held on June 24, 2010 at RAF Lyneham in Wiltshire.
The body of Kgn Tagitaginimoce was returned to Fiji for a funeral in the viilage church on July 10, 2010 and burial at Nakaulevu village, Nakelo, Tailevu.
