The reason I have Grampa Ezekiel as Jr. is because I have never found a document, census, marriage record, death cert., etc. that he has any middle initial or name...
They named their son EZEKIEL HARRISON, after Mary Rhoda Poynter's father HARRISON Poynter...

SO THIS TELLS ME HE WAS LIVING IN JEFFERSON, JOHNSON CO. MO. WHEN HE DIED... with his daughter Lucy and her husband Herman. He died just 5 years after the census,
Plus on the rootsweb TREES they have a William West GREER B: 14 Dec 1864-but he is not on the 1870 census. he would have only been 6 years old, maybe died young.
other sources: death cert for "Ezekiel= D: March 18, 1915", the informant was not knowledgeable regarding the birth, parents, wife, or Ezekiel's birthplace. So the only proof of anything is his death and place of burial. "Hopewell MO, Sedalia MO. undertakers "McLaughlin Bros."
