Frank was born in Penzance, the county of Cornwall, UK on July 10, 1867 to Father Stephen Blewett and Mother Esther Ann Blewett (formerly Harry). Frank's father was a fisherman and his mother was a resident of Mousehole (community of Paul) when Frank was born.
At age 22 Frank Blewett married Jane Penberthey Noall, age 24, on July 9, 1889. At the time of the marriage, Frank had followed in his father's footsteps and was a fisherman living in Mousehole where Jane P. Noall also lived. At the time of the marriage Franks father Stephen Blewett (deceased) was listed as being a fisherman. The bride's father Richard Noall was a carpenter. The marriage was witnessed by Richard Noall and Grace Harry Noall.
During their 20-year marriage, Frank and Jane Blewett had 6 children together. They are:
Stephen Noall Blewett, DOB: 4 Jan 1890
Mary Anne Blewett Webster, DOB: 6 March 1893
"Rosabelle" Blewett Floyd (aka "Rosie") DOB: 6 March 1893
Esther Blewett, DOB: July 1894, who died as an infant as indicated on Franks Headstone.
Frank Blewett, DOB: 17 September 1895 and
John Blewett, DOB: 3 August 1899.
Frank Blewett died on Nov 24, 1909 at Academy Place St. Ives U.K. at the age of 42 and at that time was listed as being a general laborer. The cause of death was listed as Pleurisy and Pneumonia causing heart failure. The death was reported by C. Humphrys (Sister-in Law) Academy Place St. Ives. His remains are at rest in St. Ives Cornwall England in Barnoon Cemetery.
After Frank's death his wife Jane P. Blewett moved to Erie, PA with several of her children where she lived until her death in 1944. She is at rest in Laural Hills Cemetery, Erie, PA USA.
