Dolphin Davis (D.D.) Hamilton Jr., 67, 1951 N. Meridian, No. 7, died Friday at his home.


Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday in Oakland Cemetery.


A Florida native, he had lived in Tallahassee for 50 years. He was a retired examiner/supervisor in the Division of Finance in the Comptroller's Office. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of St. John's Episcopal Church.


Survivors include one son, Davis Hamilton III of Ormond Beach; three daughters, Patsy Hamilton of Ormond Beach, Jenny Hamilton of New Bern, N.C. and Mary Margaret Hamilton of Houston, Texas; three brothers, Olan, Edgar and Alonzo Hamilton, all of West Palm Beach; two sisters, Clyde H. Bell of Tallahassee and Mary Dumont of Sebring; his fiancé, Alene Schuck of Tallahassee; and two grandsons.


Culley & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
