The body of Richard Hisocok, who died at Preble last Wednesday, was brought to Homer on Friday and placed in the receiving vault in Glenwood cemetery. The burial will be at Pompey, where the family lot is located. Senator Hiscock accompanied the remains of his father to this village.

We chronicle the death of Ricahrd Hiscock, who died at the home of his son, Mr. Horace Hiscock, on Wednesday of last week. The services were held at the house on Friday.

Richard Hiscock, aged 92 years, and father of the Senator, died last week, March 26th, at Preble, Cortland County, N. Y. He was uncle to Rev. Brockway, of this place, who, by the mis-sending of a message was unable to reach there in time for the funeral.
