Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Grace Waldrop, of Carthage, will be held at 11 am Saturday, Jan. 2, 1988, at Hawthorn Funeral Home with the Rev. Freddy Mason officiating. Burial will be held at Waldrop Cemetery. Mrs. Waldrop, 82, died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1987, at Panola General Hospital.

Born March 3, 1905 in the Brooks Community, she was the daughter of Thomas Edward and Willis Eliza Bennett Williams. Mrs. Waldrop was a resident of Panola County all of her life and was a member of the Eastern Star. She was a Baptist.

Survivors include her husband, Francis Crum-Waldrop of Carthage; two sons, W. R. Waldrop of Corpus Christi, Douglas Waldrop of Clayton; two daughters, Mary Moore of Longview, Mildred Ross of Beckville; 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
