Caroline Donelson married Moses Starr on October 18, 1849. They moved to Indiana in October of 1852, then from Indiana to Missouri on May 10, 1856. Caroline and Moses Starr had 8 children and 4 preceded their mother in death.
Note: Caroline's maiden name is spelled "Donaldson" in the Adair Co., Missouri's cemetery records, and also in the death Certificate of her daughter, Martha Ellen Starr Landes. However, her father's name was Donelson, and that name was carried by all her siblings, their children, etc. Whether she actually changed that name or others spelled it as they heard it we have no information.
