Rev Betty Jean Abee, age 58, died Wednesday at her residence, she was born April 22, 1941 in Union County, daughter of Carson and Dora Mae Hollis Adams, she was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday in the McEwen Colonial Chapel of Monroe, with Rev. Tony Taylor and Rev. James Abee officiating, interment will follow in the Mary Elizabeth Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Rev. Paul Henry Abee of the home; two sons; five daughters; fourteen grandchildren, mother Mrs. Dora Mae Hollis of Lufkin, TX, father, Carson Adams of Lancaster, SC; grandmother, Mrs. Alma K. Starnes of Waxhaw N.C; seven sisters, two brothers.
