CENTENNIAL COVERT
Centennial "Bing" Covert, 78, of Valparaiso, died Thursday at Soldier's home in Danville, Ill. where he had resided for a number of years. His death was attributed to infirmities of his years. He had been bedfast for about two years.
Although born in Lake county, Nov. 4, 1876, the son of Jeremiah and Dorcas (Schultz) Covert, he had lived most of his life in Porter county. He served in World War I. Covert was never married.
Surviving are one brother, Jesse Covert of Morgan township, two sisters, Mrs. Lily Lowry and Mrs. Fred Wellsand of Malden, besides several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p. m. at the LePell Funeral home, where friends may call after 7 p. m., Saturday.
