Forest "Frosty" Aitkens Jr., died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2000, at a health-care center in Brookfield.
Mr. Aitkens had been employed as a retail meat cutter and was a veteran of World War II.
Born in Clinton County (MO) on Nov. 14, 1919, he was a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church of Kansas City and American Legion Post No. 117 in Braymer.
On Aug. 10, 1940, he married his wife, Leota, in Hamilton. She survives of the home.
Mr. Aitkens was preceded in death by his parents, Forest and Floy; and two brothers and a sister.
Additional survivors include three sons, two sisters, and four grandchildren.
