Wilma McCoy Warford

Wilma McCoy Warford, age 79, a resident of Horatio, AR died Saturday, June 26, 2010 in the De Queen Medical Center.

She was born November 22, 1930 in Eagletown, OK to Henry Alonzo "Lonnie" Toddand Irene Hadley Todd. She was retired from Southwest Arkansas Development Council, which was a job she loved and missed. She loved to fish, crochet, sell fireworks, and visit with friends on the front porch. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Horatio.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Burl Edwin "Runt" McCoy and Lester Floyd Warford; her son, James Keith "Jimmy" McCoy; a granddaughter, Jessica Irene Wax; and her siblings, Ima Lee Todd Wagon, Lonnia Faye Brakeville, Melba Jean Todd Roan, and Ronnie Todd.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Nancy McCoy of Gillham, AR; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Gary Wax of Horatio, Pam and Donnie Davis of Dierks, AR, and Cindy McCoy of Haworth, OK, and one considered a son, Kane Underwood of Austin, TX; 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Warford will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 29, 2010 in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Alan Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the West Otis Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., on Monday, June 28th at the funeral home.
