Vernon V. Ridley, 79, formerly of Tacoma, died at an Ellensburg hospital, Tuesday evening. He lived in Tacoma most of his life and moved to Ellensburg in 1950.
Mr.Ridley was a detail carpenter. He was a member of the Methodist Church and a 35-year member of the local Eagles Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, MaBelle of Ellensburg; one son, Jerry of Tacoma; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Alley of Ellensburg; and a granddaughter, Robin Sue Ridley of Tacoma.
Services will be held in the Evenson Funeral Home, Ellensburg at 1 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Miller C. Lovett will officiate and burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery, Ellensburg.
