Nick is the son of James Nicholas Seminoff (1893-1968) and Emma Ivan Frolofivich Bogdanoff (1891-1948). He is one of six children: Nellie, Nora, Dorothy, Nicholas, Mary, and William.

Nick was married twice. He married Gloria Johnson on 20 Dec 1940 in San Francisco, CA. His marriage certificate shows that at the time of his marriage he was an iron worker. They married at the 7th Ave. Presbyterian Church, 120 Lenox way, San Francisco, CA. Nick and Gloria have two children: Colleen and James

Nicholas Seminoff died at his home on Thursday, May 8, 1997 at the age of 78. A native of San Francisco, CA. Mr. Seminoff has been a resident of Jackson for the past 10 years.
He worked for Goodyear Tire for 25 years retiring to Amador County in 1987 from Oakland, CA. Mr. Seminoff was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Navy. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local #3 in Oakland, and a member of American Legion Post #108. He married Margaret "Peggy" Lemasney on May 31, 1968 in Oakland.
He is survived by his wife Peggy and children James Seminoff of Redding, Colleen Thornton of Sacramento, Kathy Truscott of Sutter Creek and Paul Brunell of Lodi. Brother Bill Seminoff of Napa. Nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Friends are invited to attend funeral services on Monday, May 12, 1997 at 1:00 p.m. at the Amador Christian Center, Pastor Wayne Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Valor section of Sunset View Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Amador County Cancer Transportation Fund or Hospice of Amador. Arrangements by Daneri mortuary.
