Mrs. Rozelle Warren, 94, of New Carlisle, died Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at 10:05 p.m. LaPorte County time at Hamilton Communities, New Carlisle.

She was born Oct. 13, 1911, in Cleveland, Tenn., to George W. and Ada (Harvey) Brown, and had lived in LaPorte since 1915.

Mrs. Warren was a homemaker. She had retired in the 1970s as a laborer with American Home Foods after 10 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of LaPorte and the Ladies Aid and Faith Circle of the church. She enjoyed culinary arts and always had a soft spot in her heart for dogs. She loved her grandchildren and will be missed greatly.

On April 15, 1930, in LaPorte, she married Earl Grove Warren, who died Feb. 22, 1973.

Also preceding her in death were her parents; one son, Duane; three sisters; and one brother.

Surviving is one son, Dale (Gail) of Michigan City; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Haverstock Funeral Home, LaPorte, with Rev. Ransom Ebersole officiating. Friends may call Saturday from 11 a.m. until the service. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery, LaPorte.
