Josephine McKillip died at the home of her brother Andrew in the town of Fayette, Jan. 19, 1909. The remains were laid to rest in the Yellowstone Catholic cemetery, the funeral being conducted by Rev. A. Ambauen.
Miss McKillip was born in the town of Fayette, on the old home farm of Daniel McKillip, June 5, 1886. Nearly all of her short life was passed at home. Her health was fair until about ten months previous to her demise, when it begain to fail. Medical skill seemed powerless to effect a cure. All that kind friends and relatives could do to relieve her distress was done, but to no avail. Her sickness was borne with patience and the end came peacefully. She leaves to mourn her loss, her mother, three brothers and fours sisters, besides a host of friends.
