Mrs. Ollie Patterson Beckham, 92, Mitchell-Hollingsworth Annex, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 1988, at her residence after an extended illness.
She was a native of Cypress Inn, Tenn., and a member of Sherrod Avenue Church of Christ. She was a former teacher and a former employee of Rogers Department Store. She was the wife of the late Ross A. Beckham Sr.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Elkins Funeral Home Chapel, Florence, with Sid Fulford officiating. Burial will be in Florence City Cemetery. Visitation will be at 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her son, col. Ross A. Beckham jr., Sarasota, Fla., ; daughter, Mrs. John "Eloise" Newdrip, Oakton, Va; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be deacons and elders of Sherrod Avenue Church of Christ.
