On Tuesday Sept. 24, Mrs. Luke Donahue died at the family home in Kendall. Her maiden name was Hannah Holland and was born at New Diggings in Dec. 1852. She moved to Kendall with her parents in 1856 where she has since resided. She was married to Luke Donahoe June 6, 1876.
She was well known and liked by all for her kindness and good advice. She lived quietly and devotedly to her family ever a faithful wife and mother.
She is survived by a husband and eight children, four brothers and two sisters.
Her funeral was held Thursday from the Immaculate Conception church where solemn high mass was celebrated and her remains interred in the cemetery at this place.
