Hugo W Fruechtenicht, 56, of 4100 Euclid Avewas dead on arrival at 5:30 pm yesterday at Parkview Memorial Hospital after being stricken at this home.

A native of Allen County, he resided in Fort Wayne most of his life and was employed by the Perfection Biscuit Co 19 years, retiring in 1961 because of ill health.

Mr. Fruechtenicht was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Survivors are his wife, Virginia, a son, Lorn, and a daughter, Barbara, both at home; two brothers, Frank and Fred, both of Fort Wayne; and three sisters, Mrs. Ida Hartman, Mrs. Alma Kruse and Mrs. Helen Schmidt, all of Fort Wayne.

Friends may call at Mungovan & Sons Mortuary, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm today. Services will be there at 1:30 pm Tuesday. Rev Robert Meier officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
