This is foot marker #4 in the plot photograph. Mary appears to be the second wife of William Wirt Bailey, married 21 November 1908 in Middletown, New York by clergyman, Theron Brittan. Nellie L Mapes and Amelia D Vail acted as witnesses. Her birth year is estimated as 1850. Her mother would be Mary J. Millspaugh, born Scotchtown, New York. Her father would be John N. Boyd, born Wawayanda, New York. This was the second marriage for both parties; Mary was married first to Dwight Berry (Dwayne is given in his middle name in the FamilySearch.org "Family Tree" function; also, he was a mayor, location unknown). She was captured with William and Nellie in Middletown in the 1910 Census and with Nellie [as Natie] in the 1920 Census, still in Middletown. In the 1930 Census, she was captured as a widowed resident of the Orange County Home for the Aged, also in Middletown.

FamilySearch.org's "Family Tree" function gives her vital dates as: birth - 15 July 1850 and death - 1936, Middletown.

Cemetery records are held by the Town Clerk, Town of Wawayanda, Orange Couny, NY; however, Mary's burial record in this lot doesn't survive.
