Ruth N. Harshman, 94, of the Fahrney-Keedy Memorial Home in Boonsboro, and formerly of Frederick, Md., died Tuesday June 10, 1997.

Born Oct. 7, 1902, in Wolfsville, Md., she was the daughter of the late John F. and Annie Harshman.

She was a member of Frederick Church of the Brethren.

She is survived by one sister, Ann Louise Guyton of Burkittsville, Md.; four nieces, Lorraine Watkins of Clarksburg, Md., Patricia Naugle of Boonsboro, and Nancy Reeder and Teresa "Terry" Shafer, both of Middletown, Md.; two nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.

There will be no visitation.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Grossnickle Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Myersville, Md. The Rev. Larry Fogle will officiate.

A memorial service also will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at Fahrney-Keedy Memorial Home, 8517 Mapleville Road, Boonsboro. The Rev. Louis Emerick, will officiate.

Memorial donations may be made to Frederick Church of the Brethren, 201 Fairview Ave., Frederick, Md. 21701.
