Failure to Stop for Light Blamed.
Two young men were killed and four others shaken up and bruised last night in an automobile collision at Diversey parkway and Ashland avenue.
Hamilton Atchison, 22 years old, 1030 North Wolcott avenue, and Leon Szpak, 23, of 855 North Wood street, were the ones killed when their car overturned. The four in the other car were slightly hurt. They were Paul Jacobs, 18, of 2860 Broadway; Roy Auxer, 19, of 405 West 62d street, and Walter Petrie, 21, of 629 Wellington avenue.
Crash at High Speed.
Atchison was driving north in Ashland avenue and Jacobs west in Diversey parkway when the machines collided at high speed. Witnesses told police that Atchison ran through a red light.

He was married to Eulalia/Elaine Mazonowicz in 1934, and was the father of James.
Name was Garnett W. on birth certificate.
