Rudell Childress, 80, of Providence died Monday, May 2, at Regional Medical
Center in Madisonville.
He was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Rose Mae Cook and Lula Cotton and
one brother, George Wayne Childress.
Survivors include his wife Ruth Childress, Providence; one daughter, Gayle Ray,
Providence; one son, Ricky Dale Childress, Poole; five grandchildren; two great-
grandchildren; two sisters, Loray Cotton, Princeton and Martha Davis, Dawson
Springs and two brothers, Cecil Childress and Jessie Lee Childress, both of
Caldwell County.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 from Melton Funeral
Home.
Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery in Caldwell County.
