SIMMS –May H. Simms, 81, a resident of Albuquerque passed away Thursday in a local hospital. She is survived by her husband, the Rev. J. Denton Simms of Albuquerque; four sons, Dr. David E. Simms and Dr. Harper Simms, both of Albuquerque, Richard R. Simms of Wagon Mound and Dr. Donald M. Simms of Ruidoso; two daughters, Mrs. Roy D. Denham and Mrs. Margery S. Miller, both of Albuquerque; two sisters, Mrs A. B. Fite of Albuquerque and Mrs. Claude King of Duncan, Okla.; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Immanuel Presbyterian Church with Dr. Paul Calhoun officiating. Interment will be I Fairview Memorial Park. The family asks that contributions, in lieu of flowers, be made to the Presbyterian Hospital Foundation. Friends are invited to come to Strong-Thorpe Mortuary, 1100 Coal SE, this afternoon and evening.
