Age 62, of Seaford, DE, died Wednesday July 7, 2010, in Nanticoke Memorial Hospital Seaford.
Born in Milford, DE the daughter of the late Elizabeth D. Wainright and A'Delbert E. Ellis, she was a school teacher in the Woodbridge School District for 35 years at Greenwood Elementary School.
Dianna was a member of Mt Olivet United Methodist Church in Seaford, the ladies auxiliary Virgil Wilson Post 4961 Veterans of Foreign Wars, Seaford Lanes Bowling League, and the National Education Association.
She is survived by her husband, Albert L. Halpen; a brother, James J. Ellis and wife Sue Ann of Seaford; 2 half-brothers, Johnny Ellis and Joseph Ellis, a half-sister A'Della Hebert; 2 aunts, June Van Vorst and Frances Wainright, a sister in law Linda Cooper of Westover, MD; nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.
Services will be Sunday July 11, at 2 pm, in Watson-Yates Funeral Home Front and King Streets Seaford, DE where friends may call from 1-2 pm, prior to the services. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery Seaford, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to Seaford Volunteer Fire Department Ambulance Squad PO Box 87 Seaford, DE 19973.
