"The remains of a stone just south of James [at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery] probably mark the grave of Rebecca, second wife of James [Requa]" (re: The Old Dutch Burial Ground at Sleepy Hollow, 1926.) Before 1898 "The Family of Requa" apparently found her gravestone still reasonably intact, whose epitath included "The loving wife, tender mother and sincere christian."
Rebecca's maternal grandparents, Capt. William Pinkney and Ithamar Pell, are interred at St. Paul Episcopal Churchyard at East Chester, NY.

Due to the lack of when her husband's first wife, Marritie Ecker, died it is impossible to say how many of James Requa's thirteen children were by Rebecca. Inscription
As noted by Gary Boughton who took the attached gravestone photos, only Rebecca's foot marker with the initials "R. R." remains to the right of husband James Requa.
