Chino & Henry were young abandoned tabby cats, who survived for several months on the not-so-mean streets of Hollywood Beach. People would leave kibbles and bits here and there, and the young cats seemed to do alright. As colder, wet weather approached, pity was taken for the twosome and a box with blanket was set up outside the front door. They curled up together like orphans of the storm, grateful for their meager shelter. The indoor cat, Caesar, was not happy with the new arrivals, even if they were relegated to being outdoor cats. One day, it was noticed that both Chino and Henry had been tattooed inside their ears by someone! Finally, it was time to make a decision, take the orphans in or turn them in to a shelter. They were so sweet and friendly, it was impossible to send them away. They were brought into the fold, much to the chagrin of Caesar who spat and hissed for a day or so until he accepted his new feline brothers. Henry so wanted to be the alpha cat, but Caesar wouldn't hear of it. Chino was always odd man out, but was kind of goofy and didn't seem to care where he stood in the pecking order. Caesar actually became like a mother-cat, licking and cleaning Henry and Chino's heads, holding them firmly with his large paws. Chino liked it. Henry wasn't so sure. Hopefully, they are still together, romping blissfully in the hereafter.
