Services for DeVere Fendall, 83, Salem, will be Thursday, Feb. 19, 10 a.m. at the Chapel of Macy & Son with the Rev. David Fendall of Newberg officiating. Interment will be private. The Rev. Mr. Fendall died Feb. 14, 1976, at a Salem Nursing Home.
Mr. Fendall was born Oct. 14, 1892, near Newberg, the son of Elbridge and Anna Christensen Fendall. He was married to Naomi Votaw in 1955 at Medford. Graduating from Oregon State College in 1931, he attended Multnomah School of the Bible, and was the minister of the West Linn Methodist Church from about 1931 to his retirement in 1955.
