Agnes Wilson lived with her brother William, keeping house, until she returned home to care for her sister Maria, who was in the last of her illness, until she died in 1864. She married John Lindsay on August 15th 1865 in Ardtrea, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Agnes immigrated to the U.S. in 1865-66 through the Port of Philadelphia with her husband, brother William and sister Sarah Jane. She and her husband settled in South Homer, IL near her family where they farmed. She reportedly died from injuries sustained by her inebriated husband. She is buried with her 6 infant children. Her two surviving children were William John & Thomas Wilson Lindsay.
