Mrs. Maggie Ness Dies Near Windsor
Windsor – Mrs. Maggie J. Schmuck Ness, wife of the late W. Frank Ness, died at 7:45 p.m. Saturday at the home of her son, James B. Ness, Windsor RD 1, near here, after a two-month illness. She was 85.
Mrs. Ness, a daughter of the late Henry and Sarah Jackson Schmuck, belonged to Adamsville church. Besides the son with whom she resided, she leaves these other children: Mrs. Hazel M. Grove, 24 South Franklin street, Red Lion; Mrs. Martha M. Fake, 15 East Main street, and Charles H. Ness, 69 East Main Street, both of Windsor; Emory F. Ness, 49 South Pershing avenue, York; Mrs. Edna R. Urey, Belaire, Texas, and Arthur N. Ness, York RD 3; also 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Burg Funeral home, 134 West Broadway, Red Lion, by Rev. William W. Kopp, pastor of Adamsville church. Interment will be in Red Lion cemetery.
